Service fee for repairing/replacing out-of-warranty Sesame.

Please contact us for a RMA before sending us your Sesame.

We will ship you a brand new Gen 2 replacement Sesame once we confirm receipt of your defective Sesame and payment of service fee.

The replacement does not extend your original warranty, but contact us within 90 days if you notice any issues with your replacement.

Fee does not include shipping and handling.

Good warranty - questionable product quality

I’ve had to replace three of three door locks. The warranty replacement is reasonably priced and was relatively painless (didn’t have to send the faulty products back), but if I were to start over I’d be looking for something better made.

We've learned from our experience and have taken pains to improve Sesame's hardware in a way that reduces the most common problems reported by our users. We're pleased that the rate of defective Sesames has dropped significantly since we began shipping the new version of Sesame, and we will continue to improve Sesame based on feedback from our users.
