Ive tried many smart locks and somehow this one had a battery that lasts over 2 years for a lock I use multiple times EVERY day. My August lock would last about 2 months on a door I barely use. Only thing is that the app hasnt been updated in 4 years and it seems like the company is almost non existent now with all their products "out of stock". Too bad.

I bought my first Sesame lock when they first started up back in 2016. The first one was a Zero Day model (a little buggy) and died after 3 years. Sesame took care of it. Now that one has finally died and I've been so happy with it that I've ordered another. Amazing product. Absolutly recommend for anyone that can't swap out their physical lock.

Good idea and working good for some time, after it start loosing position because positioning mechanism (encoder) is not so durable.
There are no spare parts, you will need to buy whole new lock again.

The batteries last FOREVER, the lock is powerful and just as quiet. Sometimes the auto unlock doesn't work but I find the same with August. Overall , I've had 4 august locks and 1 sesame and I am slowly replacing them all with Sesames. Points off for auto unlock not always working and the fact that it looks like development has stopped.

I love the convenience and peace of mind having this brings. I live alone in a major city and having access of who’s opened my door and when, even remotely, is so mind calming. It’s even helpful running simple errands like throwing out the garbage when I only need my apple watch to open my door, so I don’t have to leave my door open. 10/10! Great!

This is a fantastic product! I live in an apartment and unlike living in a house there is no where to hide a spare key, recently I locked myself out. After that experience I searched everywhere to find a smart lock that would work with a mortise lock. The sesame lock works and does what it’s meant to do flawlessly. I only have blue tooth connection but it connects quickly and has the door open in seconds. Installing the lock is so easy a child could do it. It looks neat and because it is on the inside of the door, I don’t need to get approval from the council of owners. I also need to praise this company for the speed of delivery to me in Australia. It was delivered within 1 week.

I couldn’t use August due to my lock design in my new building. Design basically does what it’s supposed to but with minimal features. Does not integrate with my brilliant control, Alexa voice control requires a PASSCODE making it a 30 second procedure to unlock the door. Needs an external keypad or something. My objective is to go keyless, not replace Control of every device with 100 unique phone apps.

Overall am very happy great customer service, but I have problem with auto unlock feature, it's connection almost 1 minute later when am in front of door. It must be improved but accept this am happy at all.

It just arrived and works like a charm!
It cannot be beaten if you leave in a rented apartment and cannot modify the lock itself.

We searched forever to find a simple smart lock that works on Schlage mortise locks without resorting to an expensive replacement with a Schlage commercial-grade smart lock. I was concerned the plastic internals would have too much play in them to work effectively but so far so good.

Love the ease of setup, and support. My lock came still factory-locked and support got back to me within 24 hours, resolving my issue. I believe it was the CEO that wrote to me! Very impressed thus far, and hope to make a few adjustments before re-applying it to our lock.

You really need the WiFi dongle also to get the full effect of the device. Though be aware that if you order both at the same time, they will come in seperate shipments.
